Mi nombre es Pamela Carbajal. Tengo 13 años. Nací en Nogales, Arizona. Mis pasatiempos favoritos incluyen el baile, jugar volibol y tenis, así como ver películas, y escribir.
Comencé BYTE cuando estaba en la primaria. Mas bien estaba buscando un sitio donde seguir jugando tenis. BYTE me dio a mí y a una amiga la oportunidad de aprender mas sobre tenis y seguir mejorando gracias a las practicas. Al tomar clases de arte aprendimos sobre historia y diferentes formas de arte. Después BYTE me invito a un viaje a Nueva York. Me sorprendí mucho cuando me invitaron. Siempre había querido ir a Nueva York para ver un juego profesional de tenis en vivo. BYTE me cumplió mi sueño. También ahí pude conocer a nuevas amistades y no llevamos bien al principio. Esas amistades fueron creciendo al jugar tenis y aún más para el final del viaje.
Lo que me gusta más de BYTE es que aunque todos y todas somos diferentes, venimos de lugares diferentes y vivimos en lugares diferentes, estamos conectados a través de nuestro amor por jugar tenis.
My name is Pamela Carbajal. I’m 13 years old. I was born in Nogales Az. My hobbies consist of dancing, playing volleyball and tennis, watching movies, and journaling.
I started Byte when I was in elementary. I was looking for a group where I was able to continue playing tennis. BYTE allowed my friend and I to learn more about tennis and to improve. The art classes taught us about the different types of art and how art started. BYTE then invited me to a trip to New York. When I first was told about this I was shocked. I always wanted to go to New York and see a tennis match in person. BYTE made my dream come true. I met other BYTE members and we all got along. We then connected with each other by playing tennis. We got to know each other more during the trip and became friends . What I really enjoy about BYTE is that we are all different, where we come from and where we live, but we connect to each other because of our passion to play tennis. - Pamela Carbajal
