Digital Stories:

BYTE’s digital storytelling program was developed to help its border resident student-athletes tell truthful stories about their communities. BYTE offers an intensive 3-day curriculum and a custom 12-lesson youth curriculum, both introducing students to script-writing, photo and audio editing, and multimedia production. BYTE’s robust intensive program was designed for adults and youth above age 16. It builds off student narratives, often incorporating powerful and traumatic personal histories. This 16-hour workshop provides a safe space to process important life events and take ownership through the act of creative expression and collaborative sharing. Workshops are managed by a professional facilitators, trained in conflict and crisis management.
