El arte, la cultura y el deporte, son actividades que ofrecen una experiencia lúdica, pero en algunos casos, tales disciplinas trascienden a lo cotidiano y al mero entretenimiento para humanizarnos, creando un canal, un espacio de expresión, e inclusive, concretando el empoderamiento del discurso en personas en situación de vulnerabilidad.
Llevar semanalmente un cine club al albergue del DIF para proyectar una película, es realmente gratificante en muchos niveles. Aun cuando pasan parte del día viendo televisión, series y películas, las dinámicas que les ofrecemos les cautiva y viven la experiencia como una visita al cine: se apagan las luces, empieza la película después de los créditos iniciales. De repente llegan las palomitas, y al final del largometraje aplausos, una ronda de preguntas, comentarios y un juego o actividad lúdica relacionada con la película del día.
Por unos instantes olvidan el espacio físico del albergue, que aun cuando es una mejoría ante la situación que vivían, les recuerda que no pueden estar con sus seres queridos ni salir como lo hacían antes, de esta manera, el cine es ese momento de la semana para sentir y no pensar, un vehículo de escape de una realidad inmediata, una ventana a nuevos universos, donde de la nada y en el momento menos esperado, el piso, el sillón, la pequeña silla, se transforman en una butaca en una sala donde lo único que anula la oscuridad es la pantalla.

Art, culture and sport are activities that offer a playful experience, but in some cases, such disciplines transcend the everyday and mere entertainment to humanize us, creating a channel, a space for expression, and even, specifying empowerment of speech in people in vulnerable situations.
Create a space where a weekly cinema club can be in the DIF shelter to play a movie is really rewarding on many levels. Even when they spend part of the day watching television, series and movies, the dynamics that we offer captivate them and they live the experience like being in the cinema: the lights go out, the film begins after the opening credits. Suddenly the popcorn arrives, and at the end of the film they applause, a round of questions, comments and a game or playful activity related to the movie of the day.
For a few moments they forget the physical space of the shelter, which even when it is an improvement in the situation they lived, reminds them that they can not be with their loved ones or go out as they did before, in this way, the cinema is that moment of the week to feel and not overthink, an escape from an immediate reality, a window to new universes, where out of nowhere and at the least expected moment, the floor, the armchair, the small chair, are transformed from an armchair into a room where the only thing that cancels the darkness is the screen.
