Digital Stories:

Besides playing tennis BYTE teaches innovative digital storytelling curriculums to all ages in Ambos Nogales. We developed a custom 12-lesson youth curriculum administered entirely using Google Nexus tablets as well as a robust 16-hr intensive adult workshop. Digital stories blend photo & video editing with script-writing and voiceover narrative recording. BYTE teaches this dynamic process to provide a creative outlet for children and communities to engage and share personal stories while learning innovative digital techniques.

So what does a digital story look like? Check out some of the videos below to find out!

Intern Digital Stories

BYTE is lucky to have nine high school interns who volunteer as mentors and coaches for its student-athletes. Before jumping in to help their younger mentees they tried the process out for themselves, telling awesome stories of their lives and the cities in which they live.
