As Executive Director of the non-profit North American Research Partnership, Erik Lee’s work focuses on assisting U.S.-Mexico border region communitieswith programs and projects that enhance environmental sustainability, economic development and crossborder trade.

His work and commentary on U.S.-Mexico relations and the U.S.-Mexico border region specifically has been featured by media outlets around the US and Mexico. Lee is a member of the Good Neighbor Environment Board, a frequent speaker at the Arizona Civic Leadership Academy, and a member of the George W. Bush Institute’s North American Working Group. He has served on advisory boards for the journal Latin American Policy and the International Metropolis Project.
