Aissa Huerta

Art Director

Artist Aissa Huerta was born and raised in Nogales, AZ. She is the Executive Director of La Línea Art Studio on Morley- a cooperative art and event space that aims to enrich the cultural environment of Ambos Nogales by connecting artists with their community. 

Aissa is responsible for Art Programming and curriculum development. She offers inclusive art workshops and provides participants with cultural capital and the tools to refine their personal styles. She is passionate about finding community-based solutions to localized issues and is an advocate for public art and creative placemaking as a way to re-write the narrative of Ambos Nogales.
