¡Así se baila!

En BYTE, uno de nuestros propósitos durante la pandemia fue mantener una conexión más humana a pesar de estar frente a una pantalla. En el curso de baile moderno tuvimos muchas experiencias, no solo artísticas, sino también de índole social.
Niños y niñas se muestran entusiasmados al saber que hay otros y otras que tienen el mismo amor por la danza. Se han dado cuenta que existen muchos estudiantes que comparten ese interés, no solo de la misma ciudad, sino también de otros estados de la república, inclusive de otros países como Estados Unidos y Perú, países que se han conectado con nosotros por medio del baile.
La danza ha cruzado fronteras desde siempre, por lo que ha sido muy satisfactorio ver cómo niños, niñas y adolescentes han mantenido esa comunicación con el mundo exterior durante este tiempo de pandemia. Me encanta ver cómo aprenden nuevas costumbres y tradiciones a través de la danza, cómo conectan con el núcleo social del que se rodean y cómo conectan, sobre todo, con ellas y ellos mismos, creando un ambiente virtual y físico de confianza y seguridad.
Así es como se baila, no solo con técnica para crear pasos coreográficos, ¡qué por cierto lo hacen muy bien!, sino también con alegría de compartir el mismo gusto por la danza con sus semejantes.

At BYTE, one of our purposes during the pandemic was to keep the human connection strong despite being in front of a screen. In the modern dance course we had many experiences, not only artistic, but also of a social nature.
Boys and girls are excited to learn that there are others who have the same love for dance. They have realized that there are many students who share that interest, not only from the same city, but also from other states, including other countries such as the United States and Peru, countries that have connected with us through dance .
Dance has always crossed borders, so it has been very satisfying to see how children and adolescents have keep that communication with the outside world during this time of pandemic. I love to see how they learn new customs and traditions through dance, how they connect with the social nucleus they surround themselves with and how they connect with each other, creating a virtual and physical environment of trust and security.
This is how it’s danced, not only with the technique to create choreographic steps, which by the way they do it very well!, But also with the joy of sharing the same taste for dance with their peers.
