Kino Border Initiative is a humanitarian organization supporting migrants and refugees in Nogales Sonora Mexico. BYTE partners KBI to provide 12-hours weekly of youth and adult yoga, dance, art therapy, and cinema club. Residents of the locked KBI shelter await asylum proceedings in Arizona and often require substantial support for uncertain periods of time. BYTE’s trauma-informed coaches provide accessible activities that provide space to play, connect, and find grounding.
